Last nights Golden Globes fashion blackout reminded me of my high school uniform wearing days. Instead of asking “Who are you wearing?” Hollywood royalty instead was asked “Why are you wearing black?” In what was a show of solidarity with the Time’s Up initiative to promote gender equality, most celebs walked the red carpet in the uniform for the night- all black. It was truly amazing to see how a huge fashion statement could tell a remarkable story of sisterhood and female empowerment.
